Join the Revolution!
If you have visited the new ProResource website, you may have noticed a section on the left of the home page where it says “Join the Revolution!”
Wondering what it is?
Partly it’s me being sick of the recession. I’m tired of hearing about it. I’m tired of living in it. I’m ready to move on.
I’ve talked to a whole lot of people who feel the same way.
So I wanted to put something out there to just provide a public way for all of us to say “Enough already!”
But the other part is a deeper statement.
This recession is speeding up a massive shift in our society.
The traditional corporate life has not worked for many of us for a long time. But a lot of people have still been caught up in it.
Now, with all these layoffs and it being hard to get a new job, many individuals are starting their own businesses.
Even people whose jobs are unaffected are freelancing or starting businesses to add some security and extra income.
I haven’t seen official statistics yet, but I am seeing a ton of new businesses launching.
Every time a new business launches, there’s an opportunity for all the people who provide support services to micro businesses to help that company become successful.
And many of the businesses that are laying off staff still have work that has to get done. They are looking to outsource to freelancers and other businesses.
The opportunities are vast - for all of us!
I wanted a way for us to focus on that.
