More about Jing

JingI’ve been a big fan of Camtasia for years, but Jing is even better, particularly when your main goal is educating freelancers.

First of all, Jing is free.

Second, it is amazingly easy to use.

It doesn’t offer the level of polish to the video that you get with Camtasia, but you probably don’t need it either.

You need to keep your videos short (less than 5 minutes), but that’s OK for many things and you can create as many as you want.

Here are 5 great ways to use Jing to teach freelancers about your business:
- Demo your product or service
- Document a process you want followed
- Review examples of other people’s work, explaining what you do and don’t like
- Go over a first draft, explaining all the things you want changed (it’s a lot faster than typing)
- Show something that isn’t working properly and explain how it should work

Over the next couple weeks, I’ll be posting some videos I’ve done with Jing, showing what’s coming with the re-launch of ProResource…
