This week’s free template: Social Media Marketing

Help Without Hiring Toolkit - Free Template - Social Media Marketing
As I mentioned last week, to promote the Help Without Hiring Toolkit, we’re making one of the 50 templates available for free each week.

This week’s template is one of the Easy Projects: Social Media Marketing.

This is a great project to give a virtual assistant - you can get a lot of value out of doing social media marketing but it’s time-consuming, so having someone else do the work for you gives you really good leverage.

Here’s the trick…

Be authentic.

Don’t have your assistant go into forums and post messages, pretending to be you.

Don’t have your assistant make fake posts pretending to be someone else.

Do use your assistant to scan a wide variety of forums, blogs, portals, ezines, email newsletters, listservs and more, looking for opportunities for you to comment.

It’s best if you actually do the posting yourself, because you can tap into your experience and knowledge and be genuinely useful.

But doing the scanning alone saves you hours every week, and provides you with a much wider purview into what is going on than any business owner normally gets.

Your assistant can also help you spread content you create across a wide range of social networks, giving you greater publicity than you would be able to achieve on your own.

For more information about what your assistant should be doing and how to do it, check out the Social Media Marketing template.
